To meet and manage the increase of international E-commerce, DB Schenker had to develop and invest in a new parcel sorting facility in Malmö. Almost all parcels in and out of Sweden, carried by the company, passes through the Malmö terminal. Today the facility can handle some 4000 parcels per hour.

District heating was present in the building plot and after a careful selection, the natural choice was the water supplied EnergoAqua. At 9 m height, 227 kW was installed to gently heat the large space. Energy efficient heat distribution, quiet and draft free heating, free valuable wall and floor spaces, comes with the EnergoAqua.

Besides the facility in Malmö, DB Schenker are using radiant heating at several more terminals nationwide.
